How can I update an exercise demonstration video?

The Update Video option is available in:

• Workout Editor

• Training Plan Editor

• Exercise Editor

• Exercise Library

When you update an exercise demonstration video, the new video will appear wherever that exercise is used, including in all training plans and workout logs. This ensures your clients always see the most up-to-date video you’ve shared.

How to Update a Video in the Exercise Editor

1. Open the exercise menu (three-dot menu)

2. Click Update Video

3. Paste a valid embed URL (YouTube, Vimeo etc)

When a valid URL is entered:

• The video thumbnail updates immediately

• The Done button becomes available

If the URL is not a valid embed link:

• An error message will appear

• The Done button will remain disabled

4. Click Done

Cancel Changes

Selecting Cancel restores the original video and thumbnail.

Changes are only final once the workout or plan is saved.

If you update the video on a CoachKit exercise, it will create a copy of that exercise in your Exercise Library.

How to Update a Video from the Exercise Library

1. Navigate to Library > Exercises

2. Click on the exercise you want to edit

3. Under the Video Demonstration section, paste your updated video embed URL

4. Click Update

You can also update the exercise video for a CoachKit library exercise by first cloning the exercise and then adding your own demonstration video. Follow the guide below to clone the exercise, then use the instructions above to update your video.
