# How to create a task board?

Creating a task board

To create a task board simply go to **Task Boards** and click **Add** or **New Task Board**.

Enter a name and an optional description.

An empty board will then be created where you can start to add your lists.

Simply, click on **Add A List** and give it a name. Repeat this until you have all your lists.

You can re-order the columns by dragging and dropping into the desired location.

Now we are ready to add cards, simply click **Add A Card** where you can enter the name of the card and click enter.

You can then select the card to add further details such as description and deadlines.
