# Can I change my subdomain?

Find out how to update the public URL for your website

Yes, you can change your subdomain at any time.

To update it:

1.  Go to the **Branding** section in your storefront
    
2.  Enter your new subdomain
    
3.  Check availability:
    
    -   You’ll see a **green tick** if it’s available
        
    -   You’ll see an **error message** if it’s already taken
        
4.  Click **Publish Changes** to apply it
    

> **Warning:** When you change your subdomain, your previous one is released and can be used by someone else.
