# Can I use a custom metric or measurement as a question in my form?

Steps to add metrics and measurements as a question

Absolutely. On your the form you want to add the custom metric/measurement to:

-   Click **Create Question**
    
-   Select **Custom Metric** or **Custom Measurement** question type

This will add a new question to your form:

1.  **Custom Metrics** will be under **Metric Questions**
    
2.  **Custom Measurements** will be under **General Questions**
    

-   Locate the question and select the desired metric/measurement. This dropdown will show any custom metrics or measurements you have created.
